Why Organic.is exists
My son was born seriously ill and had to undergo multiple surgeries early in life.
During that time, his mother made a remarkable decision, she completely transformed our family’s diet.
She focused on preparing food that was not only nourishing, but also genuinely healthy. Every meal was made with care, rich in nutrients, and designed to support healing. At one point, we even adopted a fully raw vegan lifestyle.
As a family, we became deeply conscious of what we were putting into our bodies. That journey got me more interested in the world of organic food, not as a trend, but as something real, powerful, and life-changing.
Where the idea came from
A few years into that journey, I partnered with one of my closest friends to take things further. Together, we began producing certified organic cakes and high-quality food products, which we successfully sold through stores and businesses in Iceland.
That experience gave me a deeper understanding of the industry, from production to labeling to what truly stands behind the word “organic.”
And that’s where the idea for Organic.is began to take shape.
