Organic sourcing
Mint and lemon are worth buying organic due to high pesticide residues found in non-organic options.
Ingredients
- 1 liter unflavored kombucha
- 20 fresh mint leaves
- 1 organic lemon
- 1 tbsp organic honey
- 1 cup ice cubes
Method
- Wash the mint leaves thoroughly and set them aside.
- Slice the lemon into thin rounds, removing any seeds.
- In a large pitcher, combine the kombucha, mint leaves, and lemon slices.
- Add the honey to the pitcher and stir gently until dissolved.
- Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, add the ice cubes to the pitcher and stir gently.
- Pour the iced kombucha into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
- Substitute agave syrup for honey for a fully vegan option.
- Add a splash of lime juice for a tangier taste.
- Best served chilled on a warm day.
