Organic sourcing

Mint and lemon are worth buying organic due to high pesticide residues found in non-organic options.

Ingredients

  • 1 liter unflavored kombucha
  • 20 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 organic lemon
  • 1 tbsp organic honey
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Method

  1. Wash the mint leaves thoroughly and set them aside.
  2. Slice the lemon into thin rounds, removing any seeds.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the kombucha, mint leaves, and lemon slices.
  4. Add the honey to the pitcher and stir gently until dissolved.
  5. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, add the ice cubes to the pitcher and stir gently.
  7. Pour the iced kombucha into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Substitute agave syrup for honey for a fully vegan option.
  • Add a splash of lime juice for a tangier taste.
  • Best served chilled on a warm day.
