Organic sourcing

Sea buckthorn berries and fresh mint leaves are best sourced organic. This ensures higher quality and fewer pesticide residues, especially on delicate greens and berries.

Ingredients

  • 250 g sea buckthorn berries
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 lemon
  • 750 ml water
  • 2-3 tbsp honey
  • to taste fresh mint leaves
  • to taste ice cubes

Method

  1. Rinse the sea buckthorn berries under cold water to remove any impurities.
  2. Juice the oranges and lemon into a pitcher.
  3. Add the sea buckthorn berries to the citrus juice in the pitcher.
  4. Pour the water over the juice and berries, stirring to combine.
  5. Sweeten the tonic with honey to your taste, stirring until fully dissolved.
  6. Serve the tonic over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

  • For a sweeter tonic, increase the honey slightly.
  • You can blend the mixture and strain if you prefer a smoother drink.
  • Adjust citrus ratios based on your taste preferences.
