Three grades: Natural, Natural with Organic portion, and Organic.Germany's national organic mark, owned by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture. Does NOT
  • Switzerland is outside the EU — the Knospe is recognised by the EU under the Switzerland-EU equivalence agreement, but not by USDA without further certification.
  • A single product may carry IBD plus a country-specific organic mark — IBD itself isn't the regulatory mark in any of those markets, just the accredited certifier.
  • Mark is trademark-protected.
  • Same standard as the EU Leaf — not stricter.
