What it meansThe federal Canadian organic standard, mandatory on any agricultural product sold across provincial borders or imported as 'organic'.Denmark's national organic mark, owned by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. Does NOT
  • Provincial sales-only operations are not legally required to carry it (though many do voluntarily).
  • Outside Denmark, retailers usually rely on the EU Leaf rather than the Ø.
  • Mark is trademark-protected.
  • Allows synthetic pesticides — does NOT meet any organic standard. Often confused with organic but it's a different programme.
