Mandatory on any product sold as '有机' (organic) in mainland China.Germany's largest organic farmers' association. Bioland-certified farms operate to a stricter private standard than the EU baseline. An EU-based natural-and-organic cosmetics certification. Does NOT
  • Biodynamic philosophy includes esoteric elements (lunar planting, herbal preparations) that many scientists view as non-evidence-based — the agronomic outcomes are still good, the underlying claims about cosmic forces are not testable.
  • Imported organic foods must be re-certified under the Chinese standard — overseas certifications alone are not accepted for the 有机 label.
  • Like Naturland, membership-based — only Bioland-association farms can use the mark.
  • Mark is trademark-protected.
