Covers cleaning products, paper, textiles, electronics, accommodation services. NOT an organic mark.Japan's national organic standard under the Japanese Agricultural Standard system. • Annual licence renewal with audit.
  • ≥95% organic ingredients.

Does NOT
  • Ecocert is the certifier, not the standard — the actual rules come from whichever organic regulation the product is certified under.
  • Doesn't apply to food. Doesn't mean organic.
  • Mutual recognition with the US, EU, and Canada applies to specific product categories — check each agreement before importing.
  • A single product may carry IBD plus a country-specific organic mark — IBD itself isn't the regulatory mark in any of those markets, just the accredited certifier.
