Required on any food sold as 유기농 in Korea. The federal Canadian organic standard, mandatory on any agricultural product sold across provincial borders or imported as 'organic'.Vottunarstofan Tún is Iceland's only accredited organic certifier. Does NOT
  • Doesn't ban the natural pesticides allowed under the regulation (copper sulphate, spinosad).
  • Doesn't certify processed-food additives beyond the EU's permitted list.
  • Cosmetics and textiles are covered under separate Korean schemes, not this mark.
  • Provincial sales-only operations are not legally required to carry it (though many do voluntarily).
  • There aren't many Tún-certified operations (~120–160) — coverage in the Icelandic market is narrower than in the EU mainland.
