Administered through Participatory Guarantee Systems coordinated by KOAN (Kenya Organic Agriculture Network).New Zealand's largest organic certifier. Recognised by the EU, US, and Japan under their respective import-equivalence regimes.Australia's largest organic certifier, accredited under the Australian National Standard for Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce. The bud-and-leaf logo is the most-seen organic mark in Australian supermarkets. The international umbrella body for the organic movement. Does NOT
  • PGS-based — the inspection model is community peer-review rather than third-party. Strong for domestic markets, less recognised by the EU/USA than third-party schemes.
  • New Zealand has no single legally-mandated 'organic' definition — voluntary certification is the norm.
  • Australia has no single mandatory organic mark — ACO is the dominant one, but NASAA, OFC, and others also certify.
  • Does NOT certify products directly — only certifiers. Look for the underlying national / private mark on the package.
