Administered through Participatory Guarantee Systems coordinated by KOAN (Kenya Organic Agriculture Network).New Zealand's largest organic certifier. Recognised by the EU, US, and Japan under their respective import-equivalence regimes.Vottunarstofan Tún is Iceland's only accredited organic certifier. Accredited by MAST (Matvælastofnun) under the EU 2018/848-equivalent Icelandic standard, so a Tún-certified product is also recognised as EU-organic.South America's largest organic certifier. Does NOT
  • PGS-based — the inspection model is community peer-review rather than third-party. Strong for domestic markets, less recognised by the EU/USA than third-party schemes.
  • New Zealand has no single legally-mandated 'organic' definition — voluntary certification is the norm.
  • There aren't many Tún-certified operations (~120–160) — coverage in the Icelandic market is narrower than in the EU mainland.
  • A single product may carry IBD plus a country-specific organic mark — IBD itself isn't the regulatory mark in any of those markets, just the accredited certifier.
