Required on any food sold as 'orgânico' in Brazil.Japan's national organic standard under the Japanese Agricultural Standard system. Does NOT
  • Does NOT mean organic. Does NOT cover farming, dyeing chemistry beyond the limit list, or social/labour standards. A 100% conventional cotton t-shirt can be OEKO-TEX 100 certified.
  • OPAC (peer-review) certified products are valid in Brazil but typically not accepted for export — exporters need third-party (e.g. IBD).
  • Mutual recognition with the US, EU, and Canada applies to specific product categories — check each agreement before importing.
  • Doesn't cover non-textile components (zips, buttons, prints) beyond the chemical-restriction list.
