Recognised by the EU, US, and Japan under their respective import-equivalence regimes.Combined organic + fair-trade + social-responsibility certification. Does NOT
  • Domestic recognition only — exports use the buyer's national mark (USDA, EU Leaf) under equivalence.
  • Doesn't apply to food. Doesn't mean organic.
  • New Zealand has no single legally-mandated 'organic' definition — voluntary certification is the norm.
  • Doesn't itself mean organic — pair with an organic mark for the full picture.
